This story is actually a lot longer than 100 words. It consists of twelve interconnected 100-word drabbles, forming a single story with three sub-narratives. The form, if not the story or the details, is loosely based on "Three Stories", a first-season episode of House, M.D.

I wrote this over a year ago and posted it on the Portkey Forums, but since they've closed them to non-members, there's now no way for an outsider to read them. Hence, I've decided to re-post the story here.

Hi everyone! Since many of you seem to be in favor of restoring the prompt system, I'll be continuing to post them every Sunday evening (Brussels time). Those prompts can be anything from themes and single words to pictures and quotes. I'm also going to put up some suggestion polls (I'd like to know what you are desperate to write!) and I'm also trying to come up with several little goodies to keep the comm interesting. By the end of each week, I'll post a list of every drabble that's been posted here.

Hi guys!
I have to admit that I totally forgot about this comm since I left LJ for a while due to health reasons. I'm delighted to see that all of you have been continuing the flow of H/Hr goodness during my absence, prompts or no prompts.
So... I'd love to hear what everyone thinks. Would you like me to post prompts again every week? If yes, drabbles that don't focus on this prompt are also more than welcome, so don't worry. :) I just think that a bit of inspiration can always come in handy.
And as LJ refuses to show any of my polls properly today, we'll have to do it by comments.
